Nearscapes: See the world from a different perspective:
from the photography of Paul L.G. Morris: a versatile and creative freelance photographer.

Nearscapes

This is a term that Paul has coined to describe his close-up and macro photography. Whereas landscapes show the world as we see it - the broad sweeping vistas, Nearscapes get that bit closer to the detail. Currently most of Paul's Nearscapes are within his Natural History photo gallery. Over the next few months he will be setting up a gallery devoted to the closer view of the world. Feel free to browse this website to see these and other photographs taken by Paul - you can consider this to be a stock library in that all the photographs can be bought either as prints or be licensed for commercial purposes. Please refer to the 'How to buy' page or Contact Paul for more details.

There is also a small range of prepared prints that you can buy: please suggest other images you would like featured. Here you can choose a gift for someone special (and that includes yourself!)

An example of one of Paul's Nearscapes:

This is an extreme close up of a small, delicate wild flower. Paul has had difficulty identifying the plant - it may be a 'common mouse-ear' but it differs in some respects from the field guides.
