About these free Google Gadgets
This page shows three different Google gadgets. A Gadget is an easy-to-use feature from Google that you can incorporate on your website, blog or iGoogle (Google Personalised Home Page). These are available for FREE for you to use: see Google's help (for more information for websites or blogs) or iGoogle's help (for information on Google Personalised Home Page).
Picture of the WeekThis gadget shows Paul's featured 'Photograph for the Week'. The image is usually updated every week. |
How to use this Gadget
To put the gadget on your website, this link takes you direct to the entry within the Website Gadget directory.
To put the gadget on your iGoogle (Google Personalised Home page), this link takes you direct to the entry within the iGoogle Gadget directory.
If you have used the Googlepages facility to create a website, the gadget can be added directly from within the page creator. I have created such a page. To add a gadget within Googlepages, when editing a page: click the 'add gadget' link at the bottom right, Click the 'add by URL' link to the right of the search box, then enter:
http://www.pmstudios.co.uk/picofweek.xml
into the URL box that appears. You will get a warning saying that there are 'no configurable settings' - this is OK. Complete the page as normal.
