Catching Up: Cholmondeley Castle Gardens

This catch-up shows our first visit to Cholmondeley Castle Gardens (I think it is pronounced “Chumly”). This is the best garden we have seen in this area since we moved away from Norfolk. Below I show a selection of views – Enjoy! :

The ‘castle’ – this is private and cannot be visited
A memorial – this had to be taken in several parts and stitched together
Close up of what appears to be a fruit on a shrub
View of a path
View of a sculpture by the lake
An aged tree…
This little stream was well hidden
A view of the lake
A panoramic view of some of the flower beds
More of the flower beds
